Become Part of Catalyst Church

Here at Catalyst Church, we love meaningful church membership. We love membership because we love the local church. We love the church because Jesus loves the church.

We will likely have a different type of membership process than you have probably experienced before, and it is because we want to get to know you so we can shepherd you as best we can. We want you to know that you are more than just a number or name on a list.

When you join as a member, we are welcoming you into a family, and we take that very seriously. We want you to feel that in a tangible way, and not feel like you are just being shoved through a system.

A Personalized Process

Meeting with Pastor Nate is one of the first steps...he will share our vision, mission, and values with you; as well as other explanations of our desire to serve as Christ in our community.

Pastor Nate prepared a three-part message series on Commencing Catalyst: Owning the Mission, which we'd like you to also watch.

Catalyst Christmas – Joy to the World

We began the first few minutes with our large prayer list…specific praises for healing and safety, along with specific prayers for those needing care and treatments. If you have a prayer request, please let us know! Luke 2:8-20 tells us of the Good News of great joy…for ALL people. Pastor Nate talked about the lowly shepherds’ role in the events of Jesus’ birth, and how even they could have the joy of the miracle. Joy is based on who God his and His promises to us. Our intentional relationship with God will help us experience joy, and since God never changes, so our joy should never change. Joy is an intentional mindset to focus on these gifts of God: Fixed entity – the Trinity of God, and how He is part of our life every second, every day Fixed realities – because of our relationship with God, the realities of our life include love, forgiveness, grace, and so many other things that we need to remind ourselves of daily Fixed future – as a child of God, we are guaranteed of an eternal future in heaven with him, in an even closer relationship than what we can imagine now. Are you intentional in seeking the Kingdom perspective? Joy starts when we seek “Up” (heaven) first. Open or re-open God’s gifts every day. Being joyful is a command to us as Christians, which we can do with intentional pursuit of a joy-filled life. Music CCLI License # 20862236
