CloseEncourage and Build Up One Another So far this sermon series addressed how we are to love one another, honor one another, live in harmony with one another, and now – how we are to encourage one another. Believers are urged to encourage one another by: coming alongside each other, strengthening one another in faith, reminding each other of God’s promises, comforting those who are discouraged, and urging each other to keep trusting Christ. In the Christian walk, we need each other. While there are joyful moments, life is hard. This is the backdrop for most of the letters in the New Testament. We need to be in each other's lives to encourage one another. We need each other in our lives to build up one another. Are we really encouraging and building others up? Is this something we are all called to do? Christian encouragement is meant to happen regularly in community, not only during crises.
