CloseGod’s Forgiveness Can God really forgive me? We live in a world that struggles with forgiveness. We don't even realize how sinful we are and still God forgives us! Iniquity? Transgression? Sin? We have it all and yet He forgives…pardons...and atones. Sin is a big deal, it wounds and destroys; and that is why forgiveness is so astonishing. God does not ignore our debt…He absorbs it. God is a God of relationship. So, because God seeks His glory and our good, he has to be a God who forgives. In striving to be like Him, we need to be people who forgive as well. As we sit in the shadow of His great forgiveness of our sins, who or what won't we forgive?
