Do Not Provoke One Another
Galatians 5:25-26
Walking in the Spirit will put us into relationships with people where we motivate each other towards being like Jesus and building Kingdom things. Are we truly filled with the Spirit and motivated by the Spirit seeking that those around us to look more like Jesus? Or are we still putting ourselves in a position to look down on others? The foundation of abiding in the Spirit: 1) Changes what is happening inside you; 2) The Spirit catches you before you react; 3) Abiding produces the very qualities that prevent provoking; 4) Abiding helps you stop taking everything personally. This is how Christ’s character is being formed in you by the Spirit. When Jesus is enough for you, you don’t have to make other people give you what only God can give you.
