CloseNinevah was one of the greatest cities of the ancient world, both in size and in influence of that area. But it was a violent place, full of violent, wicked people. God called Jonah to go to Ninevah for a specific reason, but Jonah instead wanted the justice that he thinks they deserve. But, God spared Ninevah, the people and the animals there. What has Christ forgiven you for? He is the perfect picture of compassion. We should ask ourselves: Do we have a Jesus compassion? Does our judgment of people block our compassion or mercy for them?
