The Heart of Murder: One of the reason Jesus physically came to earth was to explain to us and show us through his actions the heart of God’s law. In this message, we look at the law against murder and we find that the law is much more complex and deeper in Jesus’ interpretation. How are Jesus’ followers supposed to practically walk this law out every day? Our anger does not produce the righteousness of God. How should we deal with anger? 1. Repent to others and to God; 2. Know yourself – spend time thinking through and discussing why you are angry; 3. Empty yourself of what fuels your anger; 4. Reconcile with others; 5. Fill your mind and heart with something else that can work along with the Holy Spirit to bring about change in your life (memorize scripture).
