Pastor Nate continues this series talking about being the Salt and Light. Jesus moves from the Beatitudes to a passage communicating the role of the disciple or follower of Jesus in the world. We are to be salt and light in this world. To understand this, we must understand salt and light in a Jewish context during Jesus' time. Based on this, are we actively and intentionally being salt and light the way that Jesus describes here? If not, what steps do we need to take to be salt and light?
