CloseGenerosity Leads to Koinonia If we are honest, there is something in us that wants to keep what we have, to grow what we have, and to build our own kingdoms. There is something inside of us that wants to be stingy with our time, resources, skills or gifts, and our money. This impacts not only our walk with Jesus but also our fellowship with others. When we are generous with others it opens the door to a new level of fellowship......Koinonia. Koinonia means shared life, partnership, mutual participation. There are four expressions of generosity that build koinonia: Material generosity; Relational generosity; Spiritual generosity; and Sacrificial generosity. Today’s challenge: don’t wait for community – create it through generosity. Are you generous with your money, time and gifts? Koinonia is like a circle – God pours into us, we pour into others, and fellowship is formed.
